Speedometer Problem
I got a 96 civic ex not to long ago... the only thing wrong wit it was that the speedometer did not work. At first i thought it was just the speed sensor. I replaced it with a new one. That was not the problem. then i noticed that the perosn that owned the car had taken out the cruise control and did some kind re-wiring with the wiring on the speed sensor plug. there are 3 wires where the plug of the speed sensor is that are spliced and crimped. can someone tell me how to get my speedometer working.
Oh... btw.... i did some fooling around with the wires and the needle jumps for a sec and then stops working so it is not the cluster and i just replaced it with a working si cluster

There's no way to really figure out what the **** he fucked up without asking him.
I'd re-run the VSS wires separately to the ECU, all you'll need is an ECU wiring pin-out diagram.
