No ****. And then told not to post this crap in the forum where a chopped car will be bashed upon, and that it needs to go in the hybrid forum.

starting with a complete EF you need the EG hood, fenders, front bumper cover, and the upper portion of an EG radiator support. I left most of the factory core support intact, basically just removing the "eye brows" if you will above the headlights.hood bolts on but needs trimming of the bottom side to clear the EF cowl, the hood acts as a reference point for everything else... ie where the radiator support welds in, where the tips of the fenders should end etc. Fenders were cut just in front of the arch on both the EF and EG fenders, Tips of the EG fenders welded to the EF fenders, the gaps get really big between the fender and hood towards the cowl. I cut an 8" slit on the top of the fender, then opened the slit and re-welded them to make the gap right... Thats it in a nutshell, this process makes the front of an Ef about 4" longer. Don't flame me for doing it, Would have gone back to stock if I had stock parts laying around.... Just happend to have an EG front end laying around
^ definately, props for the work... but the round front dont match the square back.....
you probably coulda sold the eg front, bought an ef front, and had extra $$ and lots of time to spare....

the moldings surround the car from fender, door, 1/4 panel, rear bumper, 1/4 panel, door, fender, and stop at the front bumper.
wtf!? </TD></TR></TABLE>
also look how ugly the hood looks at the top near the windshield

+1. You'd have to shave all the mouldings, and probalby swap the EG rear bumper cover (if possible) to get that to flow. That having been said, it honestly has some potential. I would never EVER do it--but a very well-executed one could look surprisingly good.

Yeah, because god forbid people swap parts across generations of Civic. If a B16 in an EF isn't an abomination, then neither is this.
. . . okay, well, THIS is, I guess, but you get my point.

I don't get your point. B16's came in EF's all over the world (unfortunately not here) there is a huge difference in swapping the front end of an eg onto an ef and installing an engine in an EF that was there to start with albeit in other countries

Because they DON'T smoke crack!!! That front end belongs no where near an EF and ANYbody with an actual eye for style and design can see this right away. I understand trying to be different but this s just plane stupid looking....period

For me personaly I think that you should leave the ef alone and the eg alone...swapping stuff like engines, brakes and suspension is totally different. That stuff is for performance. But if you like it do it, and do it right.
I'm not one to hate on someone doing something different. HT is all about OEM or JDM and if your not in that its "rice". I'm a very open minded person but an EG front end on an EF looks out of place. The ef is boxy while the eg is round. Front end does not match the rest of the car.
