AEM makes an air filter cleaner and you can clean it whenever it gets dirty?

takes about 20 mins to clean and thats letting the water dry off if you violently shake it out first and no dont buy another filter its cheaper to get the cleaning kit for it at any auto parts store $21cleaning kit vs $50 for new filter and filters of that kind dont need to be clean alot unless its real dusty in your parts like once a year should be good

like awang said crap filter more than likely. look I used a period acurafanatic j/k. but since you have a good quality filter and not some knock off once maybe twice a year is good for it. and tell your friend to go out and buy a K&N replacement if his filter is that bad
