Default Euro R Swap??

Ok so today a guy came into my work (Fast food) and he was driving a 240sx and I started talking to him about engine swap and told him I was looking at doing an H22 for my F22 '94 Accord. He said he thought I should go for a Euro-R engine. I hadn't heard of this and just wondered what you guys thought. Is it affordable? I looked it up and didn't find a lot. Thanks for your time.

Wait. I thought the H22A was in the Euro-R. Same as the F20B. I don't know the whole detail, but I'm like 80% sure that the h22 was in the Euro-R. The F20B i think was just put in the Accord to avoid the 2+ liter tax in some countries.

So what I found was that the Euro is an H22 with 220 hp and like 125 torque. But that still doesn't do much for knowing if it's availible, affordable, worth it, will mechanics even know what it is if it breaks.

The euro R engine code is h22a7 ( i believe), not to forget its obd2. It's almost the same as the h22a but it has a more aggressive cams, better valves, valve spring, factory port and polished head, high comp piston, also better intake manifold (no butter flays). I also think it has a better tranny, LSD and better 2nd and 4th gear (correct me if am wrong). Hopefully this helps you out in your quest.

^^hes right. Minor indifferences between the two motors. But because of the things, LSR one, has listed above the Euro-R puts out 220 Hp and 163 tq.

The F20b is from a UKDM 6th Gen Type R Accord.

k24 goes into the UKDM counter part to the USDM 7th and 8th gen accords.

you'll be looking at about $4000 to $4500 from hmotors, swapping it, shouldn't be that hard the wiring is the bitch unless you make obd1 then get a chipped p28 and you should be alright.
