spark plugs drenched in oil
My car just shut off about a week ago while driving. No smoke or leaking that I noticed. I had it pressure tested and the mechanic said there was no pressure. So I had it towed home and I pulled the spark plug cables out and it was drenched in oil. Every cylinder was like that. I actually replaced the valve cover gasket and spark plug tube seals before my car broke down. So Im thinking its the O-ring between the cam cap's and head or under the head gasket...any comments or tips would be appreciated.

Well, if they're drenched with oil, chances are there's weak spark between the plugs and wires. Once you've stopped the leak, replace both the wires and plugs as well.

Sounds good to me...dude Im a little ashamed to admit this but I took it to pep boys (I broke down right next to it practically) and they said it was the timing belt...wtf?! In short dont take your car to pep boys! Ill get that stuff for my car and keep you posted.

Well, I sealed it up, bought new spark plugs, and new plug cables...but still no start. Im getting an error code on the ecu that I wasnt getting before. The led light blinks 16 times. I looked it up and they said it was the fuel injection. Could that be the reason it wont start? It wants to start but it just wont kick over, you know? Could it be its just not getting enough gas?
make sure the timming belt didnt snap. you could have had oil in your spark plug tubes all along and just didnt know it untill it stopped running.
before i left the shop i check everything out and there wasnt no oil in spark plugs, i might be my seals the cause that problem i hope there's no else wrong with my car
