deckplated gsr need headstuds and belt issues any input?

Default deckplated gsr need headstuds and belt issues any input?

where can i buy a head stud about 5/16 inch longer and im using a deckplated gsr block with a 5/16 inch deckplate im thinking of using and ls meziere block off with a gsr belt going to check it tommorow to see how the tensioner does with that belt setup! any input would be appriciated! thanks a gsr belt is normally used with a 22 tooth pump and the ls is 19 tooth i hope it will work running out of time!

Golden Eagle makes the stuff you need. they have an idler pulley for the water pump, that moves in a slot, so you can still use the oem belt. they also make longer head studs.

man, i haven't heard of someone running a deckplate for long time.

i was thinking the same thing...wow. thats a throw back right there.

Good luck. im sure some how people can get those b-series into the 9's again and have it be consistant.

I had a deckplate B series. I got the headstuds from Golden Eagle, I think the timing belt was from a Ford/ztec motor.

its a nice little motor, and im hoping to get over 300 hp and over 200 ft lbs which will get car in to the low tens who nows maybe a high nine we have all the other mixins but we just need to get this to work correctly!
