B18B with GT2560R at 7psi???
have searched and searched and found nothing but i am planning on running a b18b with a GT2560R with 7psi and was just wonder what i can expect in terms on power? Also when can expect the turbo spool??
i forgot to add that i will be getting S300 and skunk2 intake manifold
thank you in advance

I'd say about 230-40 to the wheels with the IM and depending on how its tuned.
Have you done a leakdown or compression test on motor to ensure that it's healthy before you start?

The dude in the post above said 12 and he has 237 at 12 psi.
I would almost say closer to 200 or so, but I really have no idea.
edit: misread post. thought op was on a sohc as well. around 230 or so sounds pretty right. It is a small turbo though... My friend had a lot of trouble getting his anywhere past 220 or so at around 12 psi but this was on a mazda.. Just not a very efficient turbo.

Lol.
It was just my guess because boilermaker said he was at 12 psi.
I figured a better flowing IM and a nice tune might make up for a PSI or two.
And he said his was on a D, so theoretically, this guy should make up that power with the B18
It's my estimate, and you are right, nobody will know until the tune comes

it may be a good DD turbo, but you can safely run more boost than 7psi. Get a GM3bar map sensor and get tuned on 15psi (or something higher than 7)....as long as you're not pushing past the 350whp range (which will be near impossible w/ that turbo on pump gas) you're safe.

yeah 15psi is out of the effecieny range of that turbo. also i don;t really what to get a bigger turbo since the 2560 is so damn cheap for dual BB
