so i put in eibach springs in my 01 sh which lowered it about 1.5 inches everything was fine until today when my axles started making noise when i take off slowly and when im riding at a certain speed, and my outer tie rods are shot too, has anyone else had this problem?

like if its hitting something like a thump everytime it turns

 

your axles are bad and you need new tie rods. what more do you want to hear.

no lowering your car doesn't kill those things, they probably just needed to be done anyways.

 

yea im getting a noise when going from a dead stop. not while im turning or anything..just when i go from a dead stop. does it in reverse or 1st. dunno wut it is. like alittle knock or clunk.

 

if not your axle, check your bushings. or ball joints.

 

anyone know of a good write up on how to replace the cv axles?

 

need new axels probably. Lowering doesn't make a difference, my 2000 has been lowered for six years and I have had no noises, so I'm guessing thats not your problem.

 

a nice little write up would be greatly appreciated.
