Would I see any gains by just dropping them in? I know dyno time is necessary...but what about the ecu?

With what other mods? Lol, sorry im so specific but whether ITR cams are gonna benefit u depends on ur other mods. Overall, u wont see big gains with them alone.

I did get a shitty exhaust setup (crushbent 2.5'') simply because I eventually blew a hole in my vx exhaust and had to quiet the car down quickly. Before I do the cams...I'm looking into a JG Header with a modded 2.5'' collector and perhaps skunk2 manifold.

yes..i have just an intake and itr cams on my gsr. At around 6k there is a big change in sound and 2nd and 3rd pull harder. The freeway onramp is a lot more fun now And yes i have stock ecu...only intake, throttle body and itr cams.

 

Ya, I highly suggest a skunk 2 manifold. Ull see higher cam gains with a better manifold for sure.

 

would the car pass smog with the itr cams sk2 IM intake and exhaust?
