flywheel cover?
is it ok the run your car without the flywheel cover or is it needed..probably dont want any water going up in there but are any of you running without the flywheel cover?
If you are frequently adjusting your cam gears then i would think about removing it. There are cars that run without them, and i belive its ok to do this. But you are risking getting dirt and other crap in the gears. I think there is a thread "project aries" or something like that where he has a DIY to make holes just for the cam gears and keep the guard.

Are you talking about the cover next to the oil pan on the bottom of the car? I mean isn't the flywheel on the opposite side of the engine?
KEEP IT ON
