Idle is bouncing and dies when i give it gas.. what to do
I installed a greddy turbo kit. The 15 g kit.
Im running stock injectors and the blue box.. I only plan to run the blue box so i can drive it to my tuner to get chipped on chrome
The car is a 98 civic lx.
The motor is a 94 ex
I am using the stock harness.
I was able to at least get the car to move before i fixed the map sensor and the iacv sensor.. Now both codes are fixed and the only code i am getting is code 41 (o2 sensor) cause i dont have one put into the down pipe
This literally bought both the motor and the kit from a working car. Only thing i changed really was the the throttle body.
I put my y7 throttle body on the new d16z6 because the tps sensor was broken.
The throttle goes between between 1000- and 2000 and stalls when given gas
Need help

did you check the voltage at the tps to make sure it was ok when you swapped?
If you just want to get to the tuner y not disconnect the upper charge pipe at the tb and run the stock setup (injectors ecu) with the turbo just spiling boost into the atmosphere while the engine sucks in its own air????
If its not hours away you can pull that off and then just reconnect the uppercharge pipe when you get there???

I think ur problem is that u are using a 94 ex motor in a 98 lx chassis. The wiring are not the same between the two. The 94 ex probably doesn't have a crank position sensor and the 98 lx and dx models has a 3 wire iacv. Maybe u should try to use a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness and put a obd1 vtec ecu in if u want it to run right. just my 2 cents. good luck.
I am using a stepdown harness and running a p28
the iacv was rewired from 3 to 2 and is now funtioning without a cel code.
No need for the crank position sensor since its a p28 and vtec is also wired directly to the ecu

Mine did this a couple of weeks ago. I put a new throttle body on and I had the plugs for the tps and map sensor swapped. The plugs ends are the exact same. Put them where they are supposed to be and fired up idled better gave it gas and took it for a drive.
