JDM OBD2A B16A+OBD2A ITR ECU=DETENATION!!!!!!
Someone told me that if iu use a OBD2A ITR ecu with my B16A that it will cause detonation due to its made for a 1.8 and the fact that it will give to much air and fuel so it wont run right...

that makes no sense.
You cant change the air coming into your engine with the ECU as the throttle is controlled by your foot and a cable.
The fuel has to match that air. Detonation occurs when there is not enough fuel.
The ITR runs richer than a B16A. You would have LESS of a chance of detonation with everything being the same.
Seeing as how the B16A is not as high compression as a B18C5, the timing advance (if any) provided by an ITR ecu will cause no problems.
The car will be safer with the ITR ECU than with the B16 ecu.
The only problem is that the ITR rev limit is set higher than the B16A rev limit. Watch how high you rev it. Although, I did rev my stock B16 to 9200RPM once. It held together. lol best sounds ever.
I would not recommend doing that.

im guessing 6k still since the B16A and the B18C5 are geared pretty much the same.
