Car: 96 hb h22a swap

Problem: The car starts *with help from the gas peddle* but dont idle you can give it gas and it revs but as soon as you let off the gas it dies? could it be the distrib? well im throwing no codes xecpt 4 vtec but thats not wired up so its ok could it be iacv?

i sawpped a h22 into my prelude s and it took me a month of messing with the iacv to get the damn thing to idle properly... royal pain in the ***

 

so do i completely eliminate the dizzy as the problem source?

if it runs fine other than the idle, i would knock out the dizzy as the problem.

 

wel come to think you have to pump the throttle to keep it running but as soon as it get up to opp temp you dont have to do that

I'd say the FITV could be messed up also, OP search for a thread I made about dealing with a bouncing idle, the same fixes should work for this car.
