search won't work for me it's probably the server but i really need to find the auto to manual swap for an 88 sedan. somebody please help me out. i know that there is a thread better than the one in the faq.

 

google it man.what yr tranny are you using?88 tranny is different and i believe 89 is also diff then 90-91 are the same as in splines,so use whatever yr clutch as the tranny.wire up the reverse lights and there is a plug under your ebrake console with 2 big black wires you need to wire those together hope that helps

 

yeah i know i've been searching yahoo and google and i keep finding the same three threads. we're using a 90 transmission with a 90 clutch and flywheel. i knew that the transmissions were all different as the splines are not the same. but i was wondering mainly about the specific mounts i need. also would a engine and dash harness out of a manual dx crx all work if i wanted to use this instead of splicing into the harness intself as i have one available. thanks.

 

you only need the rear tranny mount,you shouldnt need a harness at all i never had to change mine out when i did my auto to manual.

Why are you bumping it, I provided all you need to know. As for the harness goes, as long as its the same model it will work.
