Painting car.. problem while painting roof
So right now we are primering the car and getting it ready for paint. While primering the roof of the car it is getting kind of gritty. I believe it is caused by overspray while painting the roof. Should i worry about this when we start to paint the car or not? Also if i should worry about this while painting is there something i need to do before clearing.
What we are doing to the roof right now is sanding it to get the grit smoothed. Should i wetsand after basecoat if it is gritty? thanks guys

Its caused by "dry spray". and a little bit overspray. It happens on the roof alot due to the fact that its a harder area to reach. Stand on a bench or something to get a better angle on it. Or try useing a slower hardener.
that would have more to do with your reducer rather than your hardner. its hard to recomend a solution for you because there are so many variables. you could be haveing this problem because your useing to much air preasure, not a slow enough reducer or you dont have good enough ventalation. Its best not to spray over dry overspray for adhesion perposesm but chances are you should still be ok. as far as while painting, if you continue to have this problem try painting the roof first and then tacking off the other top surfaces before you paint them. this is only for sealer and base, when you clear the over spray can't be tacked off. focus more on the order in which you paint the panels more than anything.
