Default legit or stolen..?

Wen buying a jdm block how can u find out if its legit or hot..? We're can u go 2 run the numbas? Lemme noe h-t..

Yea i feel ..I'm not looking 2 get in any problems but we're i live police stay poping hoods..so i just don't wanna get my car taken for sum hot ****.....

People probably report the block numbers, newer motors also have the VIN stamped on them now that I remember. Maybe check the block # (or VIN) with the cops and see if it's legit.

Sure, show me how to run an engine block # on Carfax. For VIN #s, yes you can.

And you can get in trouble if you get caught with a stolen engine. Possession of stolen property, heard of it? Also, you can't really tell at all, and the only way to get caught would be if someone had the block stamp written down or in picture.

There's no way to tell..That's why you might as well just get it,since legit places with jdm motors have no real way of proving legit or not anyway.

Japan doesn't seem to have a theft problem,I recall seeing a type-r with windows down and keys in the ignition..
