Default Civic Si and DX distributor difference

I got a code 9 CYP sensor on my 93 civic DX. I have a distributor from a 93 Civic Si. I was wondering if the internals are interchangable. Basically, can I use the CYP sensor from the Si distributor in the DX distributor? I don't want to buy a part if I already have it.

Yes. But the housings themselves are not interchangeable as you probably already know.

I swapped the internals, no check engine light any more. Car feels like it has 10 more horsepower than it had before. Thanks for the help.
