Default Bolt on vs. welded, resonator and catalytic conv?

I have a bolt on resonator and catalytic converter and when i accelerate i can hear an exhaust leak but not sure from where but it sound like it's coming from under the car not the bay. I checked it for cracks and there are none.

Does anyone reccomend replacing them with weld-on's?

Is welding more efficient than bolt on?

aftermarket exhaust items always have a problem with leaks and whisp noises and whirring noises. its very aggravating. make sure all the gaskets are new and the bolts are tightened down and beyond that its all mickey mousing it up yourself with wrap or cement or something that can stop it. if you weld it on you will have to CUT it off if you ever have to take it off. if you can avoid that your better off.

Hondabond is sold at any acura or honda dealership, usually like 12-13 bucks. OEM is the way to go.
