Default is there anyway to confirm that a block has been sleeved.

so i bought a h22a1 block from a guy off h-t with pistons and rods and he claimed that it was sleeved. i took it to the machine shop and the guy said that a magnet should stick to it if it were iron sleeved and a magnet didnt stick so does this mean that its not sleeved. it looks like the sleeves that come stock in the h22 close deck but i dont know. i thought they only made iron sleeves. any help would be nice. thanks

Eddiebx is right...the difference in stock vs iron sleeves is very visually different. The stock ones have a unique coloring to them while the iron sleeves look obviously like iron (only way I can describe it). Post a good focussed pic of the cylinders and we can tell you.
