Any Assistance With The OBX Intake Manifold...
I recently bought an intake manifold from OBX and was wondering about the IAC Valve(motor) hookup. The is none!! No mounting location for it what so ever!!! My questiononce installationis: Is it gonna throw a code and will it continue to do so? I asked a few of my Buddies in our club and they said not to worry about it. then i was wondering if the new intake dosent have this mounting location cuz it was a lower value(cheap) manifold, but i asked one of my friends and he said that his dosent have one eiether and it's a Skunk 2.
Please anyone. I really need help!!!

u wont throw any codes if u leave it hooked up, just zip tie it somewhere.
if ur car runs good, it wont make a diff, maybe when its cold.

it runs great now and all i did was a throtle body spacer on the stock manifold. i mean i get the up/down of the idel but it eventually settles down. now is that normal? and thanks for the advice from above!!
If you need a remote IACV mount, talk to Tony1 on this forum, as he makes one for use with applications that cannot normally mount the IACV on the intake manifold.. His website is http://www.t1racedevelopment.com
I've seen them, and they are nice..

If you can get it to idle nice.. It's similiar to trying to achieve a nice idle with ITB's, and not have a problem with the car stalling upon clutch in..
Personally, I'd rather have the IACV for a daily driven street car..
