You COULD use it, but it would be preferred to use a non silicate formula like Honda or Toyota. Silicates tend to destroy water pump seals and cause other problems.

Honda dealership.

If anyone ever plans on running dexcool make very very sure your COMPLETE cooling system is flushed out to get the old stuff out or you will have pudding.

aw crap i already changed it with dex-cool i've been driving it for about 3 weeks now and i drained out the old stuff before putting in the dexcool until nothing was driping anymore am i fawkt or what?

I hope you at least flushed the entire system, rather than just draining the radiator...
It is always a terrible idea to mix different coolant types.
Personally, I cant say if youre screwed or not, because I dont know the properties of dexcool vs honda/green...but Id be concerned...

i just let the green drain out i didn't flush out anything, what's my next step drain, flush and refill? and how much would it cost to have someone flush my entire system?

You shouldn't have any issues. Dexcool should be completely compatible with other brands of coolant. At least the newer crap is last time I read the container. I've never had any "gel" issues with it.
