so i have a bone stock b18a with 50k on stock rebuild. i have kooks ramhorn with a t3/to4e .60 a/r intake side .63 a/r hotside. 2 1/2 dp and exhaust no cat. i'm running 14 psi i'm not starting to spool till 4500 and not reaching full boost till 6000 - 6500. trying to figure out y the late spool anyone have any ideas thanks for any help
Check all of your connections on the charge piping and also make sure there aren't any leaks pre-turbo.
There was definitely something causing that turbo to spool slow, just couldn't put my finger on it.

def check for boost leaks. that will result in very slow spool time.

got some new couplers and clamps for the ic piping. also noticed that it looks like the wastegate was leaking on the backside going to oreder some new gaskets. hopefully that was my problem i keep this updated thanks for the help so far
didnt catch the 2.5 exhaust at first, only thought that was downpipe on maybe stock exhaust.....how much boost are you running on the spring on the wastegate? and how much shows on the boost gauge?

pulling the manifold checking for cracks going to put a new gasket on. but i keep checking and double checking starting to think its the turbo will post up later if new exhaust manifold gasket doesn't work.

lets see i'm still spooling late i've haven't been driving due too i want to get all the leaks taken care of. so far the the places i found leaks are the weld around bov, the bov itself, my iat sensor, a hole in one of the couplers.
