i have a 94 ex coupe and just got a b18b1 obd2 automatic
wasup h-t? i'm on the forum all the time and i think i'm ready for my first swap.unfortunately i don't think it's gonna be str8 forward. i'm getting a longblock from a good friend of mine. the longblock is a b18b1 from an obd2 integra and it's automatic. of course i'm not gonna use the transmission. i was wondering what would be the easiest way to get all of the wiring to work in my car. can i use the auto harness? if so, what wiring is necessary? i'm pretty darn good with wiring, so if i guys give pointers i'll be able to figure it out. also... would i be able to use an obd-1 b-series wiring harness? if i do that, do i have to change the dizzy and injectors? i'd like to use the obd2 stuff since i won't be able to get the obd1 easily. if i have to i will tho. thx a lot guys.
hey dude I got that bumper off you, use the obd 2 harness it will plug right into your civic at the shock towers and it lets you use the obd2 dizzy and injectors without splicing. the only thing you will have to do is wire the reverse lights
hmm, wire the reverse lights? and this applied to a motor that's automatic as well? i mean i'll be using a 5spd tranny but it's an auto harness. if i got a 5spd harness, i won't need to wire the reverse lights right? do i wire the reverse at the shock tower or somewhere in the car? thx for the help bro. how's that bumper goin?
if you get a 5sd harness you won't have to wire the reverse lights, I just assumed you were using the harness from the motor. I don't believe that wiring the lights is a big deal its just the way it connects to the tranny I think its like 2 wires.
