Default Blown out struts

First off I just wanna say I dont post very often because I do use the search button, but I could not find a specific answer I was looking for. I have a 97 dx ek with a b16 in it with lsd. I have a coil over setup on stock struts. My problem is my struts are constantly blowing. I changed out all the struts about a month ago and there blown out again. I cant figure out what is causing this. Im thinking of getting a pair of TEIN basics, I dont make alot of money or have any to waste. By upgrading to the TEIN will i get rid of my problem of constantly blowing struts or is there another thing causing this to happen. I do apologize for starting a new thread but I'm hoping someone can give the right answers. My car is dropped pretty low too. THANKS for the help.

You're in the wrong HT section.

I won't pretend to know much about suspension.. but you probably shouldn't of dropped your car so low if your struts keep blowing out. Probably need some higher quality struts or something, since I know after market struts for the SI are recommended if you drop pretty low.

Being cheap when it comes to suspension =

Get some adjustable kyb's or tokico's and it won't seem like you have hydraulics

My question is if i get stronger struts i wont have a problem with my struts going out anymore then right. I just wanna make sure that there nothing else that could cause my struts to constantly blow

If he's really dumped agx won't handle much lower than 2.25" for long.

That's your problem right there. You bottom out, slam the pistons of the dampers all the way into the shock body, and pinch off the valving that allows for the air/gas to travel. Next time you bottom out, a whole lot of pressure is going to build up and after a few times, something's going to give and they'll blow. Raise your ride if you don't want to keep buying new dampers, easy as that.
