Default HID kit 07 ex sedan?

Whats a good kit to buy, for aroun 250 bucks, and thats relativily easy to install

This site says there kits are plug and play

but they say some vehicles need to have the bumper removed and such, is the 07 ex sedan one of those cars?

OH yeah, you will need to place your 2 ballasts under your headlights, this will require bumper removal.

I keep saying it, Plug in play HID kits are crap and despite what people who own them say, even if they're BRIGHTER than stock, they don't perform BETTER.

I've gone through 5 different types of halogen bulbs and 1 hid 'kit' and I have to say if you want to improve your lighting, get a real HID retrofit. A kit won't cut it in the long run.

Accord, I of course agree, I have a retro, but if that's the way someone wants to go with, to each his own.

I don't want people to walk in blindly though, especially if it's such an important feature as automotive lighting. This helps you see and be seen, and if it breaks, you're out of money and not as safe, and it glares and can distract other drivers or refract light back into your eyes in poor weather conditions.

Even a retrofit is illegal, but those are at least using OEM components in the way the maker designed them to. I've been blinded by too many kits and distracted by idiotic, bright colors (3000k, 8000k+) that it's only a matter of time before too many people complain and the police really crack down.

Plus, anyway, why buy a brand new 20,000 dollar car and put in a cheap alternative?

If you can't pay the money to do it right, don't do it at all.

Like I said, I went through 5 different types of halogen bulbs and an HID 'kit' and now i'm back to halogen because there's no point if you don't do it right. I'm speaking from experience, been there, done that, wasted money.

It's like putting no name crap wheels and tires on your car. It's a safety feature...would you do it cheap or do it right and spend more money to get name brand wheels and tires that are proven reliable?

why you gotta lie to people like that? Be honest in your response. I'll soon have my retro done by Bjorn and then will install one headlight and since i have a rebased D2s bulb laying around I will install that rebased kit into the other headlight to show you how WRONG you are.

you either full of ****, or the people that drive past you are too blinded to flash you. no matter what you do with a PNP kit you will blind oncoming traffic. i used to have a PNP kit, and no matter what i did it sucked for other people

it's not "ballin'" as some of you guys refer to.
It is about getting the right parts at the right time while getting a deal out of them.
Got some tsx projectors for free. MDX headlights for 50 bucks, g35 ballasts and bulbs for 30 bucks and some 2 driver side headlights and one passanger's side headlight for 130. Then to be honest tell me what's "ballin" about that?
If you're impatient and don't want to look then that's you but if you are patient enough and get the right parts at the right time or know someone who can provide such, then u'll spend 1/3 of what others pay.
Again, i got on your case when you said pnp kits cutoff is crisp like stock. Well bud, stock halogen output and cutoff don't blind oncoming traffic. And if you want less glare and aim them lower, you're sacrificing intensity towards the road which will give you less width and length which then defeats the purpose of getting HID's to begin with.

I just installed a set of PNP HID's for my friend's SE-R Spec V on Friday night. I can honestly say that aiming them took more time than installing them. He had me put them in because he knows I act like his car is my own during the install. It was nearly impossible to get the right mix of light on the road and not blind me. I would have to say that, after seeing my retro light distribution, I was very unhappy w/ the light. It didn't really matter though, because he loved them. I kept trying to point them down and he kept trying to aim them up. I actually had to let him let him drive my car in front while I drove his to convince him of the fact that they needed to be aimed lower.

I have a PNP kit and I haven't ever been flashed, all I did was lower the angle of the lights, and go by the measurements in the manual. No problems since the install..
