every so often as of late...i will hear like a klunk noise cuming from the front..to my it sounds like the axel..let me kno what you guys think
Could be most anything, since your description was very vague.
Things that I've seen be the cause of a "clunk" noise:
1. tie rod ends
2. struts
3. upper spring perch
4. CV
5. lower ball joint
6. spindle nut
7. lower control arm bushing
8. hub-side McPherson mount
....
Yeah, there's plenty more. How about I just say anything under the fenders.

yeah man thanks for the info...it happens to me the same way...only one klink...not real loud like a bad axel..cause i had that on my 92 accord..but it jus strikes me wierd wit 30k
Does the noise happen when you first start the car / start driving?
I have a similar issue.
Under investigation, I realized it had something to do with my ABS.
I figured this because when I slammed on the brakes in the snow, it make a series of the 'klinking' noises, from the front driver side wheel.
It almost sounds like a klink when you release the brakes and start to accelerate as the wheel starts moving.
I dunno.

Hello guy's, I have been getting info. from reading at this forums, and today I decided to join, I have a 05 Civic VP, this same clink noise happened to me too, almost at the same mileage, it turns out it was the front driver CV drive axle that broke after 40k miles. I heard the same things you guy's are describing, it would happen when I would pull forward and back wards, but it gets worse.
the way I tested mine to determined if it was broken was to turn my wheel all the way (outside) and have somebody help me with it,
I grasp the axle with my hand (where I thought the noise was coming from) meanwhile my friends was in the car, he put the e-brake on and put the car in first gear, almost riding the clutch, but no letting it go, just enough where the axle made a little movement, while he did that, the part of the axle I was holding which is right next to the rim (cv joint) I felt movement, and the CV joint turn in my hands it felt like two rods going on the opposite side, and then I heard that same clink noise in my hands, so if you feel safe enough you can do the same test, I called and went to Honda dealer and they wanted to charge me and arm and a leg and I asked if it was still under warranty, but the part dept. guy told me that people are coming in with the same problems around the same mileage, they told me that their technician had to check it in order to see if it's cover under warranty other wise is was going to be around $400, so I just purchased the cv joint for like $95.00 plus tax and did the work myself, after I installed the new part, the noise was gone
well that was the solution to my clinking noise, hope that helps
