Default My del Sol photo timeline... 56k go away.

Bought it about two years ago with 114k on the clock. She was in pretty rough shape from the kid who had it before me.

Started with: 93 del Sol Si
Painted interior
Ugly *** polished sears rims
vinyl flame job mang!!
muffler tip
Abused engine and tranny.
Altezzas
Stock ride height

So, yeah the flames came off less than a week after I bought the car.

But damn that wheel gap.
I miss my truck...

Well, after I had the car about 15k miles the input-shaft bearing went out so the tranny got replaced.

Along with a new tranny, I put it away for the winter and threw on some coilovers a few bolt ons( that do nothing) and put OEM rims back on it.

A few hours after that picture was taken the motor decided to give out due largely to neglect from the prior owners and spit the number 3 rod threw the block.

Back in action with a new JDM ZC VTEC!!

I had to raise the front a little due to bottoming out from going to fast over out crappy roads.

Finally!! got rid of the euro tails

Right after they were installed someone hit me in a parking lot. Front end got fixed and repainted. And I bought ebay one piece headlights.

Late fall Auto-x. had a blast even though it was way to cold for tires to warm up.

Lovely view from Skyline drive.

Got EDM fogs(finally after taking a month to get from the UK to my door) and put on my dSoc sticker.

Tires were getting worn out so I had to put my old crappy ones back on.

I didnt really like them at all and decided instead of buying another set of tires I'll get myself another set of rims Played with the ride height a little. Painted the remaining interior back to black.

It was a perfect night.

Just before import alliance I ordered some tow hooks and repainted the front grill black again since the body shop didnt mask it off when they repaired it.

And that is how she sits right now. I still want to lower the car back to where I had it first and drive slower beyond that...
Here is a peek at whats next.

Thanks! The suspension has dropzone coilovers 450# front and 350# rear. the camber kit I had was the ingalls kit and that moved the entire UCA too far out and it would hit against the top of body. Those have since been replaced with Skunk2 UCAs and I dont think I will have that problem but im not sure If I want to chance it untill better springs arive.

Nothing to fast, just a 15g running about 1 bar on a built D series.
Suspension and brakes are going to be setup for track days not auto-x.

Thank you sir! I probably will never have the money to make mine as nice as yours but it will end up a quick car.
