Default k20 with LS tranny

ive heard before that the 6spd trannys arent as good as the 5spd when turboed for the k20 n alot of people are goin to the 5spd trannys... just wanted to know if an LS tranny would fit with a k20 since the LS trannys has been one of the best trannys they built for honda/acura.... thanks

^^ agreed. Id just get a longer final drive if you are worried about holding boost in a gear for a long time. they do that all the time in the s2000 forums. 4.10 seems to be a decent final drive

I'd like to do a final gear ratio change in my transmission as well. I'd like to be at 2500 RPM's at 75 in 6th.

I like it. Nothing like pulling through 6th past a Mustang in 5th (and if you think I'm talking about street racing, you'd be incorrect).

Why not add the TSX 6th gear to your RSX-S Tranny?

Actually, that's not a half-bad idea. I think I may swap the entire 6 speeds over, so I can actually use my 1st gear, as well.

Good thinking.

if you have 5 in reverse you could make a car mid range turn the motor around you got 5 fwd gears and rwd it would be a retarded way to do it but halarious to see
