energey suspension shift linkage bushing help

Default energey suspension shift linkage bushing help

hey guys i bought some energy suspension shift linkage bushings and i cant seem to get them installed. the silver washer is alwys loose. and the bushings seem to be loose but when i checked the item number they were correct. this is for a gsr.




Thats the part thats loose when i tighten down the bushings.

that bushing looks alot like it's for a d-series....alot alot.

That is definitly not the right bushing... It needs to be able to fit over the stud on the tranny... It looks like the bushing has a metal insert and thats not right at all.

yeah mine doesnt look like that. do you know if the shifter side one is same on d and b series?

yes shifter side is the same, but depending on the company you will probably have to send them back as a set.

i bought it from inline 4 and they told me to send back the round bushings and package.

the d-series energy suspension bushing is a two piece that goes on the end of the shiftlinkage that attaches to the transmission.

hardrace bushings come two-piece for atleast the b-series because they are so much stiffer and almost impossible to install if they weren't 2 piece.

there i fixed it for you

d-series is one piece and can clearly be seen not only by it's obvious size difference in the picture but the fact it has a metal guide for the bolt. b-series do not have this guide.

edit:added hardrace bushing info to clear up confusion.

damn dude, i told you over the phone haha

does it have a metal sleeve in the middle of the bushing, and you said no

the middle sleeve is for single cams

just get some prothane bushings from me man lol i'll help you order a set
