Default H22A Swap Help

Okay i have 93' Civic body with a 95' H22A motor swap. It has problems starting and once it does get started no matter how much gas is given to it, it will slowly loose power and die out. If anyone has any advice or has a best guess id appreciate it.

It could be so many things I don't know where to start.

It could be a vacuum line that came loose, timing, wiring, grounds, dead ecu, etc etc.

Think you can give a more detailed description?

okay when u go to fire it up it cranks as if it wants to start but just doesnt have the push to roll over. now if you pump the gas as it is tryin some times that will be enough to get it started once running pretty much instantly if you dont have the pedal to the floor it just starts dropping rpms until it dies.

have you checked the fuel pressure?

Take it to autozone/napa and have them check the alternator/starter/battery and whatever else they'll test for free.

And you never said if you had any CEL's?

I'm thinking you've got a tired fuel pump that's not keeping up pressure with how much the engine is consuming. Especially if its the original civic pump. That just put up a red flag for me when you said that the car turns over many times before start, and begins to lose power no matter what. My $.02

But grounds would be an easier/simpler thing to check first.
