Hey I just want to get a idea on what I may run. I have never turboed so I dont have a clue on this.

The victim: 95 civic ex 4 door d16z6

Setup:


d16z6 with arp head studs
oem head gasket
oem water pump
stealth mode 1/8 oil line kit
precision intercooler rated for 350 whp
garrett t3 50 trim .42 .48 quick spool
SLS log manifold with downpipe and dumptube
Tial 38 mm wastegate with 10 psi spring
Turbo XS manual boost controller
hks blow off valve ver. 2 with flange
act 6 puck sprung with act prolite flywheel "may be returning for streetlight"
precision 440 injectors
walbro 255 fuel pump
B&M fuel pressure modifier and guage
AEM wideband uego gauge and boost gauge
I have full exhaust 2.5 and test pipe

Tuned on CRome 10-12 psi stock from Philly Dyno works

Will this car pull hard? What kind of numbers/ quarter mile times do u think... I know alot of variables have to be considered just trying to get a idea..

 

Depending on how good of driver you are. Also are you running slick or not? With a good driver you should see 13s easily.

 

no slicks. I can get into the 13's with this setup on street tires

If you already know that, then why are you asking.


Anyways, if you plan on running over 10psi you should upgrade your stock map sensor.

 

I don't know if you will get into the 13s on street tire. It's easiler said then done, but you'll never know until you try it out.

 

I know that lol. I mean really its a stupid question I just want to know if I will like what my setup is producing... In a 4 door also

lol it wil be a quick car.. beat most stock vehicles.. still gonna get hammered by corvettes.. put some rods and pistons in it and turn up the boost

Speaking of corvettes i ran a new 07 corvette coupe yesterday. 3rd gear role i was ahead and most of 4th i was ahead then i let off and he passed. Second time though top of 4th and he passed me so i slowed down. The funny part was in the beginning i knew he was going to own me i just wanted to see how i compared because we don't have any dyno's here. The guy in the passenger seat was flipping me the bird in the beginning then once i held my own they pulled up beside me and he goes "DUDE WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN THAT THING?! I just reply oh, its turboed.. lol. I later tell him that they're a lot of cops up ahead, and he precedes to slow down, and i give him the thumbs up. Stock D16y8@10psi FTW! lol. Sorry for the off-topicness just had to let it out.

**Did i mentioned i tuned this baby by myself?! lol.
