Default 1.64 liter d16y7 help me choose a turbo

hey guys, getting ready to put together my rebuilt motor, it will stay n/a for a while till i get all the boost accessories, i have 76 vitaras, tuner toys rods w/ arp bolts, and arp h/s, and a pnp head will be installed with the turbo, my goal is 325-350 hp, but i want a turbo that would have the least amount of lag for my set-up, if i had the money i would be going NA with b-series............i hate lag.......but thanks i appreciate it

I agree. We are shooting for 400 on our Vitara project, so went with the 57 trim. With your lower HP goals, the 50 trim should work, plus you can still do a 48AR on the hot side. That combo should get you some really good spool response.
