its on the firewall, its a small black thing, a vacuum hose from the throttle body goes to it, there are some round solenoids next to it as well. just follow the vacuum lines till you find it. Unless you have a newer 92+ throttle body which the MAP is on top f it.

that would cause my car to smoke right? if its bad the reason is when i bought the car and got her running,it was disconnected and smoked know its connected and i think it went bad. when i disconnect it she dies on me never happend before.

plain and simple the car WILL NOT RUN without the map sensor plugged and working. So whatever was wrong with it before it couldnt of been disconnected.

if your vacuum hose was disconnected from your map it may smoke a little, but would run like **** more than smoke. like not idle, not accelerate, so on so forth. if the smoke is black your running rich, if its blue your burning oil.
