brake problems

Default brake problems

ok heres the story i started to get more and more free travel in my brake pedel and now it goes like 2 or 3 inches from the floor before it really grabs good. i have bleed all the line for air but i think it is somehting else. need some help.

no leaks but im going to try and power bleed it and if that dosent work i guess ill try a master cylinder

ok i replaced the master cylinder and bleed the brakes again it was feeling a lot better when we were bleeding them. it felt like i had a pedal but when i started it up it was still going almost to the floor before it would start to grab. i need some help.

Wheel cylinder leak? Or you still have air in the lines.

ya i have replaced the one that was leaking but i think from eveything that im reading that it was to be air so im gonna get a power bleeder and see what happens.

have you taken off your calipers for any reason?

If so make sure you have placed the right caliper on each side...it should be stamped L and R...
You can tell if its on the wrong side if the nipple that you are bleeding is facing towards the bottom. Remember air rises and if the nipple isnt on the top you wont be able to get all the air out.

...bench bleed the MC also
