Default what is wrong

when i am driving and i have to make a stop i hit the brake,
but it seems like my brake will go almost all the way down,
but if i pump the brake a couple of times it will be normal
what is wrong , could it be my master cyl.? air in my brakes?
bleed my brakes?

it wouldnt hurt to bleed them....maybe even flush them?

Like they said above, trying bleeding them first, if that doesn't work, its definetely your master cylinder.

i agree with the others but you may also want to closely examine all your brak lines, calipers for leaks that allow air in the system.
