I seem to have a problem with my 88 Honda prelude 2.0 SI. I just replaced the coil, the distributor cap, the rotor, the plugs and wires. I still have no spark. I thought it was the coil to begin with, but when I got the new one there was still no spark. I have power going in to coil but nothing coming out. If anybody has any clues to what my problem is please let me know.

a fuze? or mabe try a dif ecu.

 

Do you have a spark when you hook a spark plug directly up to one of the coil packs? If not could it be another bad pack?

 

I have checked all the fuses. Do you think there could be a censer that is bad? If so would you know what ones to check?

 

I should have been more specific with the engine type. There is no coil pack. Its just a normal coil with a plug wire that plugs into the distributor.

 

igniter in the distributor?

 

I have no idea what an igniter looks like. You say that it is in the distributor? Please tell me where and what it looks like.
