So.... Who all makes a Top mount for h22a in a prelude chassis... i see full race stopped making theirs, and silly_sohc never responded back to my email...must be busy?? i dont need a manifold right this second but i will in the near future...post up what ya know..

 

We currently have a prelude in the shop that we will be starting a setup on here real shortly.

i read a couple threads about this guy taking forever, 1 person had to file a claim with paypal, anyone else vouch for him???

Yea there were some issues with one guy that originally wanted to buy 2 manifolds and wanted a discount because he was buying 2. He later backed out and said he only wanted 1 but still wanted the discount, which Herms was ok with. That same guy at the same time also bought a head from Herms and claimed to be missing parts and wanted money back for it but it came off of a running car so not sure how that was possible.

Either way- makes no difference to me where you get the mani from.

So i think i wanna go with Neukin, but i dont see a top mount application for h22a on there site, even tho i have seen them made before.....I got money ready for this people (neukin or sillysohc) chime in guys!!!

he's a nice guy personally, but as a business man i see him going down the dark path. He owes me money because the manifold he made for me cracked in several places, he offered to repair it since it's under warranty and basically gave me back the WORST warped head flange i have ever seen. He offered to find a shop to mill it for me and never heard from him again, just ignores my phone calls.

Worst part is his employer knows about it and lies to me over the phone as to his whereabouts. I'll call and ask for him and he says sure I'll get him for you, then comes back and tells me how he JUST stepped out for lunch. They gave me the same bullshit excuse all 3 times i called to speak to him.

Is everyone strung on topmounts or just something other then a log?

 

i would really like a topmount but i'd be up for any good flowing manifold thats prelude compatible, i have tryed contacting neukin and silly sohc both have responded... they ask for info i give them info and details and pictures of the car etc etc... but they act like there not interested.... wtf!!! i just want a manifold!!!!

 

I called Neukin, and they seem real approachable. Yes, they asked for pics, but seemed interested. They do make top mounts too.

I need a mani that clears p/s and a/c. Neukin said they can do it, but price is a little higher, since it's "custom." If enough ppl are interested, they would lower the price...

 

I just placed an order with SLS... more than willing to help out and communicated quickly, gotta love that....said 2-3 weeks for my manifold...

I would have went with silly neukin anyone with a good rep really, but they were all busy i guess?

Logs are crap... and H series don't seem to take to them very well. The top-mount is the new craze but a traditional bottom mount will do just as fine as a top-mount. The issue with the H series is clearance of course.
