Im in the process of an lsvtec on my 97ls turbo and the GSR head has ITR valvetrain but I do not know what the capabilities of the itr valvetrain is. if someone could give me a good idea of cams that it could handle that would be great.

based on the valvetrain alone and oem cams either b16 gsr or itr cams 8.5k

 

i do alot of reading i dont no for a fact but everybody says stock cams are the best ones for gsr and type-r when boost comes to play check websites like evans-tuning

 

I had found a set of jdm b16 cams $50shipped...if i want to rev out high and not worry about the valvetrain Im under the impression that would be my best and most affordable option

 

for tunning we like to use gsr cams if you are going turbo

 

is there much difference in the b16 and gsr cams? i noticed that gsr cams seem to be a little more expensive for some reason
