Driving down the road and my S2k just stops!
Ok so i just got my 01 S2k and its been running great for the first day, as im going home i go from 6th to 4th and get on it, after i do that the car decides it does not want to run anymore...so i let it sit for about 10 minutes and it starts up and runs the rest of the night...now before i bought this car the previous owner had a supercharger on it with a piggy back ECU on it...however he took it off and i reset the ECU from the battery...i just need some help on what this dam problem could be!
loose battery cables/grounds would be the first to check. Then check the wires at the ecu. Test the ignition wire too

All 100+ of them? Sweet!
OP: Conditions? Car fully warmed up? Year/mileage/mods?

well...considering that when you went from 6th to 4th and it bogged out...
if i was in your position, i'd probably run codes and try to find freeze frame data....that is if you have access to scan tools....
but w/o one.....just check basics: ground, fuel, fuel pressure, spark, etc.
however he took off the piggyback....obviously he probably did some wiring mod close to the ecu...check the wires there....and with a piggyback, i highly doubt he spliced into 100 wires....just look for ones that stand out (like they've been messed with) and make sure the connection is good...
if those check out..well ur gonna need a scanner
good luck

no just the several that are twisted together and covered in electrical tape
