oil pressure guage: mechanical or electrical?
thats what im leaning torward, since its a direct reading. its the install and having oil lines into my car that worries me.
i have had both the mechanical and electrical in my car, the readings i had were ientical in my car with the CRVTEC, it a bitch with the mechanical to put in because you need to feed a line inside the car, obviously. Also you don't want to use the rubber line they give you so i used a steel braided line but like i said pain in the ***. The reason why i took it out was because this guy i new wnated to buy it from me for like 30 bucks more then i paid for it well also i included the steel braided line with it, which i got for free ($30 dollar value) and my other friend gave me his oil pressure gauge (electrical), also another reason why I wanted to switch was because of the fact if the gauge breaks or anything there is oil everywhere in the car. But i got the same readings from both gauges and electrical is alot easier to install. hope that helps
I ran all electrical Auto Meter gauges in me G2 oil pressure, fuel pressure, water temp. It is easier to run wires than it is lines not to mention safer.
