It's called torque steer. It comes with driving a high horsepower FWD vehicle. Get the car professionally aligned again to make sure everything is kosher, but most likely its simply torque steer.

it's called power lol. that and when you got the alinment done with or without the turbo? b/c the turbo kit depending on what the size of the turbo is going to add some weight... i know when i put my b20 and the turbo on it made about a 150 pound difference between the d15 i had stock...

dont think its torque steer in 3rd it all over not because your shifting or on off the throttle. itso bad it you could never race next to any body its to hard to control. darts back and forth while floored through out any one gear

Torque steer in my friends turbo colt was rediculous. Definately the same problem you are having.

high hp rwd cars tend to have a similar problem out the gate too... I dont think there is much you can do but hone in your suspension.

You need a suspension that is up to the task of handling all the power. We had the same problem a few years back.

IM rota92 and tell him to hook you up with Progress. He talked with them and they designed a suspension for the car that made a world of difference.

When I was street tuning the car before the suspension, the Tuner said "he'd been in 400hp B series cars but our single cam with a GT35R was the first car that scared him. After the Progress the car drove straight when it hit boost.

The car runs down the track straight with 568whp 406ftlbs.

B or D series ? Torque steer also has a lot to do with unequal axles.

http://www.aa1car.com/library/wheel_alignment.htm

"This is also what causes "torque steer" (a sudden steering pull) in some FWD cars that have unequal length halfshafts. "

Where did you get it aligned, are they use to aligning high horsepower cars or did you go to like an every day place like jiffy lube. Places that deal with higher hp cars will know how to help you more.

I would look into going to a shop that specifically deals with aligning higher horsepower cars.

check the bolts that hold the steering rack. I had energy suspension bushing and 2 of my bolts came loose before and everytime i boost i would be all over the lanes next to me...

it is alingment. Trust me I know. If you step on it in 4th gear not spinning and it is still all over the place it is alingment (wheel bearings, tie rod ends...) for sure. When the front suspension is unloaded because of acceleration the alingment becomes a big factor. Get the car's alingment re-checked and post up what happens. Ther is something loose. Also alot of negative camber doesn't help either. Wheel bearings tend to go too as soon as you start making good power.

I had the same problem when running my coupe at 400hp, but after the type r rear sway bar install and a good realignment, the car start going pretty strait forward. I test out boosting in 3rd at around 25* turn on the free way and the car still handle like a champ.
You should look into good rear sway bar, it a good investment you ever made.
