Default 60' datalog - opinions please

Here's a screen shot of my log when the car went 1.718 in the 60' this past weekend. I put a tapemeasure on to show the time period when the car started to move, until 1.718 seconds later. The two vertical lines show this window:

I'm (admittedly) a novice driver and need to practice. As you can see in the log, I rode the limiter in 1st for almost 1/2 second and lifted on the 1-2 shift. There was a lot of time here where VSS is flat, almost .8 seconds.

My question is, if I shifted properly - on time and without lifting - what do you think the car is capable of in the 60'? 1.65? 1.60?

You're missing alot of data in that screen shot. Usually if you spin, riding the limiter is a good thing through the 60'.

It looks like you're leaving too soft. I think you're 2 stepping it? but can't tell for sure. Play with the 2step. Also, boost comes on hard through the gear, I would try to calm that down. 1.71 is a good start

Thanks for the input. What other data would you like to see?

I left on the 2-step, but was only on it for a moment, so it was making about 6psi at the launch. If I 2-step longer it makes about 8psi at that launch RPM. I expect that will work great. Boost topped out at 19psi. We were running on spring pressure with no boost controller, because it wasn't working properly. When I get that sorted out I'll be able to keep it from making that much power in first.

Thanks again..

Find your rhythm bumping into the 2step. You must be consistent with that first in order to make progress tuning the launch rpm & boost levels. Try to sit on the 2step 2-3 seconds while you focus on the tree.

As for data. Vehicle speed doesn't tell much without drive wheel speed. If I could see the incremental data for rpm/load as well as the drive wheel speed I think I could help you more.
