Which one of these catback systems should i get for my 94 GSR for the best sound/performance gain?? I heard the 2.5 inch catback piping on the N1 would take away from my low and mid range a lot is this true?? TIA...

just an exhaust will get you no where. you have to look at the entire system. what are your intake, header, and cams doing? Are they stock?

In general the Apexi N1 is an awesome exhaust.

 

just a AEM CAI for now, then in about 2 weeks ill have a comptech 4-2-1 or greddy 4-1 header....

 

Apex-i N1 is a loud, nice sounding exhaust. Over time when the glass-pack melts inside it creates a buzzing sound . But overall it's good.

I never heard about an exhaust taking away low end or mid range power.

 

I would go with the apex exhaust maninly for the look and sound, because performance wise its going to be the same and i would go with the greddy 4-1 header because my friend has it and it dynoed him a 6 whp increase in his GSR but everycar is different.

 

Ya get the Apex exhuast, if it's too loud for you they make a silencer that makes it sound very nice...

 

Oh yeah I forgot about the silencer, yeah the apex is the perfect exhaust for you, to loud get the silencer. I got the tanabe racing madellion and I always drive with the silencer just because I like the quiet sleeper mode until I floor it. BUt yeh apex is good.

 

Apexi N1 for sure. Get jap, get the best.

do a search for the great header test. greedy isnt worth it

 

i have the great header test, buti think u need 2 look at it again since it doesnt test greddy......

haha, totally different exhausts... that's gonna come down to opinion for most people.

as for header, dc sporta jdm 4-1 with 2.5" collector mated to a high flow 2.5" cat, and the n1 would be my choice to finish it off. can't beat that setup. not when you look at bang for the buck.
