The ABS can and will brake at the maximum for each tire individually. No matter how good you think you are, your foot can never match that.

I know how good ABS vs. my foot is but its not about that. The series I am running in doesnt allow the system to be in the car so its not like I can just pull the fuse.

This is the Type-R forum... can't you butcher a hatch or something else instead? I'm sorry but, I just hate to see another R get all chopped up when so many of us are trying to put them back to right.

you mean show cars....

matt....pull everything out....all the line....
then from your MC run a line for the front and split it....one going to each side....

then from MC run one line into cockpit....and put a controller on it/ ie brake proportioning valve, wilwood makes a good one....

then from there run it back to the rear and split it and take one to each side.

you'll have to bend and make your own connections...

I would hardley call it butchered... Thats great you want a stock ITR for the street and I would too if thats what I was using it for. It's a race car and in SPEED World Challenge you cant run ABS plain and simple.

So, how about you sending the ABS system this way. I would like it for a project on my 4dr.

You will need a 1998 Integra RS Prop valve + all 4 front hardlines. I have done the ABS delete to all my show cars, including my race car.

or just a 99-00 si prop valve i just did this and it cost me like 65 bucks

you need the two front brake lines from a 98 rs and than the two comming from the master cylinder to the prop valve. these are avalible at your local dealer for like 45 bucks. thats what i paid. i then went to the pick and pull and got the prop valve for 20 bucks. everything works perfect.

GL!

Ok so... Explain the T.V and computer screens that you installed in your race car?

I live in NYC, and would be happy to come to you and swap in an OEM non abs system from a civic into your car if you'd be willing to hook me up with the abs sysem from your car.
I'd love to try to retrofit an abs system into my civic, and the abs system on the R is great... If you're not interested in a swap from a normal civic, PM me a price for your system. I currently have RL Front brakes and Oem R Rears on my car, with a 4040 prop valve and ITR MC...

And for your car, you can use:
ITR Mc
4040 prop valve
All lines from a non abs civic coupe (like mine) or integra RS
ITR Calipers.

Need to remove ABS Pump, prop valve, computer (in rear) and abs harness.

Things that need to also get taken out (and put back in) to do the swap include the interior, and the front subframe.

Any mods (including my HID retro) are completely and easily reversable. Your entitled to your opinion though

Back on topic.... I want to see some pics of this race car.

Here is a thread I made: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1160671

The pictures below are from my former race car. For those of who want to splurge out "stainless steel lines are mushy compared to hard lines." They maybe theoritically but ARENT and had no effect on my vehicle braking performance.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by migs &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Here is my setup and how it ended up.

99+ GSR MC/BB using the pre 98 RS prop valve.

I too got in touch with purechoice and bought some fittings from them.
