Default replacement filter for comptech intake.

so i measured my foam UNI filter that came with the comptech intake to try and track down a k&n replacement, it was 4.25 inches id inlet and 8 3/4 inches long. Tried to crossreference that size on k&n's website but had not luck.

I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion as to what filter to use to replace the foam uni filter. I really dont care for it, i really question how well it filters. I know that the foam filters flow better than other filters but my car is a dd and to me it is more important to have good filtration and sacrafice some flow.

i would also like to know what others use. i tried a couple different k&n filters to fit on my ice box but had no luck. i searched and tried the k&n filters that other icebox owners used but there's was never one that fit perfectly without me having to modify it. i ended up just ordering the foam filter cleaner through comptech and i cleaned it and it looks brand new. only problem is i have to clean it quite often.

well the filters posted may work with the oem rubber tube but i am using the complete comptech setup (intake arm, velocity stack, icebox). The k&n that was linked earlier has a coupler with a 30 or 45 degree bend on it.

There isnt much info on this out there. I may end up tkaing it to a local k&n dealer and see if they can match it up. I thought for sure someone would have replaced the carppy foam uni filter.

The bend is normal.
Thats what a stock filter looks like.
It should work fine with just an icebox, I dont know about the comptech intake arm.
I have a E2427 and it works great.
I also have a RU-2820 that I modified to work.
If you are looking for something that is similarly sized to the stock filter, but doesnt have the bend, then the 2820 is really close.
