Need some help with some wiring. Ok ... I can't find a yellow w/ red stripe wire anywhere in my book. I need to know what it goes to. I'm putting in an f22b1 and am using my h23 harness so...eh.

Does anyone have the pin codes/colors for the h23 and the f22b1 it would be much appreciated.

 

Need more detail...specifically where is this wire you're asking about coming from? What type of connector is it attached to? 2-pin? 6-pin? Color of the connector? etc....

Do you have a Helms manual?

 

No helms manual. There is a yellow and red wire coming off a connector in the center of the back of the block right above the oil filter. On my h23 the yellow/red wire was grounded and on the f22 it is connected to the tear dropped shaped connector on the block. Does anyone know where to download the helms manual online?

 

Hmm....the knock sensor is right above the oil filter but it doesn't have a yellow/red wire according to the Helms. It's a yellow wire with a red stripe right?

 

Yellow/red= Engine oil pressure

 

Possibility. I don't think the f22b1 has a knock sensor...according to my manual it doesnt...I can't find one at least. If it's engine oil pressure why would it have been grounded out on my h23? Also I'm going to take a few pics of sensors I have left over and see if you guys can tell me what they go to...I have the names according to my manual...
Intake air temp sensor - mounts on the back of the intake yes?
Idle air bypass sensor?
Fuel injector air bypass? Something of that nature.
