We've all seen arospeed's ricer intercooler intake, but take a look at this piece of crap:

I forget what other company there is.. but I've seen that "design" before... it was advertised in either Superstreet or SCC.. i forget.. maybe it was ractive, or obx, or one of those other rice companies..

 

now oyu can stick an exhuast pipe into your throttle body!

 

 

hmmm.......soda cans.....aluminum foil... I too could manufacture a "MONSTER" INTAKE!!!!!!!! YES!!!!! Maximum Airflow here I come?

 

thats a cool concept, but they jacked it from ARC, which is a very respectable japanese company. their air boxes and chambers etc are like $300

 

have you guys seen the "Intercooler Effect Kit"? It's not a real intercooler and it's not even an intake!! it's just a fake intercooler with pipes that lead to nowhere! LOL check out http://www.visracing.com and click on aero kits and then on the link saying "intercooler effect"

It looks like a bong I used to hit off back in the day!!! Those were great times, smokin', drinkin', getting chicks, watchin cartoons...... WAIT THAT'S WHAT I DID TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!

 

the concept works as far as the slightly larger tubing in themiddle. We;ve dynoed a couple of cars with pipe from Japan that is like that, but the design on this AROSpeed one sucks. it tries to copy that concept but in a very poor way.

 

curious to see what the results were on the dyno testing of those japanese types of air intakes. was there any gain or loss?

A fake intercooler......I know, I'm gonna go buy a civic dx and put type R stickers all over it, leave everything stock except for the rice intake and the fake intercooler!!!!! Than I'm gonna race everyone!!!!!
