i saw this thing on tv..
allright, so i was watching horsepower tv and that advertised this thing for import cars that goes in between your throttle body and the intake and it turns the incoming air for more horsepower. i'm not a noob, i'd just never seen anything mentioned about them. any support?

just another thing to waste money on and get nothing out of.
If its a fan then its a total joke
If its a spacer/spiral then its pointless on our cars (a venuli plate @ the head would actually do something - spoon)

Was it on tv yesterday or this morning? Because if it was then it's a spacer, I know I saw one on that show this weekend. It was made out of some fiber with 2 holes in it.

throttle body spacer = not worth the stuff its made with
if it was one of those "Tornado" things, don't get it either, they make your intake worse.

If it's the Tornado Air, then it's useless. This thing has been around for years making these bogus claims. Sport Compact Car actually dyno tested one around 5 years ago and proved it was bogus.
They are still in business because that SCC article was missed by the next crop of "import tuners" who don't know any better.
Straight garbage
