What size or style cotter pins do i need to replace the ones holding the front steering knuckle on? The ones in the upper and lower ball joints? Im planning on tackling my brakes this weekend and i need to get all the parts and such

 

get a whole cotter pin set, u can get one for like 8 bucks, dosnt really matter what size u use, just as long as it keeps the nut from losening

 

I would replace any/all that you take out. Dont reuse, its to cheap of an item not to change.

 

I got mine from Kragen. Not a good set, but does the job. I would suggest taking out the cotter pins and bringing it to kragen or autozone and try to match them. I once tried to use the old one, and it is impossible to put em back on. But ALWAYS replace
