Help sucked up some water

Default Help sucked up some water

Ok i sucked up some water into my cold air intake not alot i took the piping off its just wet inside not any standing water but what can I do as precaution? I know take the plugs out and crank it see if it shoots any water but then what change Oil? Oil filter?

I would change your oil..if water is in your engine good chance its in your oil..

Pull the plugs, crank it over to shoot the water out, then change the oil and filter. You answered all your own questions. Then, when you go to start it after all is said and done, hope that you don't hear a clack, clack, clack sound. You might want to do a compression test afterwards to confirm all is well.
